starter problem
Hi I have a sc300 with a 1jz swap and I just did the clutch on the car and I'm having trouble starting the car now that it's finished and all back together.
1. I put a new battery in and tried to start it. No crank no start
2. I jacked the car up and looked at the starter. the main power wire and harness plug are connected but there is a thin wire with a eletrical conector to the starter that is just dangeling. I think it is the ignition wire but I can't figure out where it goes. I then saw another wire. A black wire on the harness that was loose. I touched it to the housing of the starter and told my friend to crank the car. When he did i saw it spark up. So i took that wire coming off the starter and connected it with the wire I saw spark up. that's when the fuse blew. Now nothing turns on at all. The car is completely dead.
So In conclusion Im not sure what fuse it is and I need help figuring out the wiring. to start my SC.

It looks like those two wires should be connected together, the black wire and the black/red wire. As for the fuse, there is a fuse box right next to the battery in the engine compartment. You will need to unscrew two Philips head screws to open the box. I believe you blew one of the main fuses in there.

Ok thanks for your help. I hooked up the two wires together and that's when the fuse blew. Also I opened the box and it doesn't seem to have any blown fuses or relays
