Default wheel gap question..

hey wassup guys and gals...

i'm about to buy 18"s for my sc4. What size tires should i buy? 35 or 40 profile tires?

i can't stand wheel gap and it looks as though even with the 1.3 inch drop from the supra n/a setup, i would still have some wheelgap.

does anybody have this setup with 18's and how much gap is there?

dkny_112,

I'm running 18x7.5" and 18x8.5" G-Zero's on my Soarer, and the tyres are 235/40 f and 245/35 r... just FYI.

I am running 40 profile on my supra 17's. I have the TEIN CS coilovers and there is no wheel gap in the front, and the same in the rear. but then again i have coilovers... they are made to slam your car ...

Depending on the width, i'd try and stick with 40 series. I have 235 40 18s on mine right now and the gap is pretty distingished. I'm guessing the ideal size for the sc would be 245 40 or wider. I'm selling these wheels to get some 18x10s with 275s, i'll prob go with the 35 ratio with those due to the width.

Hey lexiss_sc400,

I think you bought your car with the drop already. Unless your suspension is so old it sags.
