Default Hopping back in!

I never made my presence known on the first SC400 I had because I was embarrassed of it and got rid of it quick. But now I'm back with a 1992 SC400 (loaded) with 82,xxx ORIGINAL ONE OWNER MILES! Carfax/Autocheck reports check out good. I am beyond happy. On top of that, I plugged the VIN# into the My Lexus deal, and found out that it had been serviced since day one at the dealer! The individual who owner it before me had passed away and his wife took ownership. She didn't drive it much other than to the grocery store because there were too many memories with it. So she passed it off to a friend to sell it for her. Paint is in amazing shape for the age, interior needs some seat work, but that's it. The A/C compressor also locked up due to it not being used much. I brought it home this evening, so I didn't get any day shots of it. Here's two pics. I'll get more up in the next couple days.
Original keys with key chain from dealer purchased from:

Cluster:

The thing drives like a dream with 4 new Bridgestone tires. Looking forward to being a part of this forum and staying active as the SC forum is more active than the RX.

Thats some low miles. I have seen two others with lower, but that is still really low for the year. My body has about 270K on it. I don't know how many know since the motor swap. I saw one on Ebay that had 18K miles on it. They wanted 16 or 18K for it. I don't know if they even got it. I cant wait to see it. Consider yourself lucky with the mileage and all your needles still working as they should.. What a gem.

Now we demand the pictures!!!!!

Here are a couple shots from this afternoon. No it isn't going to be sitting in the grass... I had to leave it at a friends house after I bought it because she was closer to my mechanic. It will end up in a garage by the beach!
Look what I found going through all the paperwork today at work!

Original window sticker valued at $44k!

Interior shot with new compressor in tow! Took it over to my mechanics this afternoon to get that situated.

Full tank of gas and loving every minute of it. This thing is such a highway cruiser. So comfortable, and fast... Got the air conditioning situated on Friday and now it blows ice cold. Going to get the interior situated within the next couple weeks and be on my way to making her look perfect!

Nice SC you got there. I have 114k on mine and I thought it was low for a 96. Be sure to keep it clean and classy good luck!

I do not have plans of modding it too much for the time being. I plan on restoring it to original condition and then going from there. I've got it at my old high school with my old Auto Body teacher getting some paint work on the front bumper done. I think I scored big today with some stock IS300 chrome rims. guy was hurting for money and I got them cheap.

I'm looking forward to getting new tires on them and getting them on the SC to see how they look!
