Hi I just got an SC and sometimes the passenger door wont unlock. The actuator actually fires and you can hear it try to unlock the door but the lock button (the red thing that flips back and forth) doesnt open all the way.

Could someone give me some ideas on what to replace? Thanks!

My sc also does this on the passanger side, same with locking. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Check the DIY thread - good explanation and pictures... There is an arm that routinley breaks.... Just had my replaced when the body shop broke it....

@Duck05 I'm not sure anything is completely broken since it works sometimes and sometimes does not. If it was broken woudnt it not work ever? But I'll look at the DIY anyways, any other suggestions? Thanks!

I have that problem as well, The problem is...VOLTAGE DROP, It's getting power, Just not enough of it...The SC is notorious for being an electric hog and having weird phases of electric power grabs, Try revving your engine and locking/unlocking your door at the same time, You might actually get the door lock to fully lock/unlock.

Also, check your passenger side window switch, I'm willing to bet you can only roll your window up, but not down.
