Default Don't know what wheels to put on the widebody?!

So here's how I stand.... Right now I have a 1992 5 speed widebody sc300. Right now I'm running xxr 526, 20x9 front +15 with 3/4" spacers. 20x11 rear +15 with 1" spacers. It's a decently ggresive fit now. The rear is basically stretch and poke and the front is flush. Prolem is, I've chewed threw my wiring harness twice and I scrape my fenders 24/7 and there shaved paper thin. Not only that I feel they look a little ghetto. I'm defiantly not going for a VIP look. My car is like a dail/trak drift missile! Interior is stripped, battle scars on bumper and what not. But anywho, I've seen many people with widebodys on 19" witch looks good, but 19" are a pain for someone on a budget. Tires are hard to find and not to cheap. Other issue is, I want to go pretty aggresive cause I like the look, my car just looks like a monster so I want the wheels to match, I was thinking about getting varrstoen es2 18x9.5 0 offset 18x10.5 rear 0 offset and have them stick out from the fender very aggresively and then lower my car as far as I can without scrapping the tire, but with that setup I'm afraid I'll be to low to the ground, I want to pretty low but not like super slammed. I can't find any pics of widebodys on 18" wheels. Not only that I figured widebody on 18" wheels with a really aggressive fitment would give it a 3d look so the wheels wouldn't look so small.... IDE post pics but I dnt know how!? Mutch help pleas

I would go with 19's. Try the local used tire place around you. I can get Michelin Pilot Sport's size 265/35/19's for $40 bucks mounted and balanced. Just shop around. If you have chewed through your wiring harness twice, you need to relocate your harness asap. You are only looking for more and more future problems, IMO.

Thanx for the reply bro , hopefully some more opinions pop up as well so I can get some ideas, an yeah 40$ is killer good for tires!! And I love a good stretch on wheels. And yeah I fixed that issue a while ago. I finally zip tied and wrapped the harness and tucked it right under the lil of the frame support then I took a air hammer and bent the lip up so it cover the harness so if I bottom out it just rides on smooth metal. Rewiring the harness was a nightmare!!

Not rewiring the car but Relocating the driverside fender harness.
Very easy to do if you can assemble a child's puzzle.
Find wires that go through firewall to dash. Unplug them, pull wire harness through fender firewall hole. Run the wires through the engine bay and back through the same hole. Plug them back in and you will never wear through it again.

As for wheels if your car needs the traction you should buy the appropriate wheels. If not you should stick with spacers.
