Sounds like it might be time to invest in a quieter muffler. Like I said -they had better not write me a ticket for my exhaust sound or I might argue because of all the Honda farts and Harleys running around here in the "Crimson Neck" area.
I may be soon making the drive up your way every day. I am interviewing for a position up in Decator.

Not sure, not too loud for me. My straight pipes on the V8 was way louder. I also forgot to mention about the dumptube from the wastegate is ran back into the exhaust, just to make things quieter. I think he heard the turbo spool rather than exhaust.

California is by far the worst place to own a modified import. If you own a modified domestic car you are good to go. I have seen mustangs running around on slicks with loud exhaust and yet the guy pulled over is driving an import and is getting ticket for no license plate or tinted windows

OLT, I could possibly outrun a cop car, but I could not possibly outrun the Motorola radio!!!
I think we found the answer to this riddle on why he gave me a ticket...
A) he was bored
B) he had to meet his quota
C) he needed to show his authority
D) he was on the way to Krispy Kreme, and my car was faster from the red light
E) he wished he could own a Lexus or anything boosted that looks somewhat cool
F) he owns a Harley or two
G) all the above
I am thinking, "G", all the above.

I will find out this morning if I have the job up there. It will also determine if I am able to keep the SC or not. No job = No more SC!

When i DD the race car with the stock 2j i got stopped for and i quote the local texas cop " your plate lamp looks like it might go out in the next week or two" then did not ask for any doc's, simply ask'd about my cage and all that jazz for about 10 minutes and let me go

i agree with the annoyance of harleys. cannot stand them. and useually the drivers of them drive like jackasses so that dosent help. in my soarer i have never gotten a ticket, but lots of looks and lots of times being pulled over. one time for driving too slow. Little do cops realize its called relaxing.
