I see clean. Have you noticed peppier performance in power mode or is it just an illusion?

I notice it too. I don't think you're crazy. I believe it holds your gear longer so you stay in the powerband vs upshifting to quick to the next gear. I think I read somewhere that it even advances timing a bit (but I may be wrong on this).

Great Info ! I will start using ECT/Power mode on the v8 tomorrow . I always thought it uses a lot more fuel.
