driver window replacement. need help!
Ok so a couple weeks ago someone did a hit and run on my car and left a good sized dent on my driver door and shattered my window. So I got a new window and now I am trying to replace it. So I got all the panels, speakers, trim etc off. The only problem I have now is to put in the new window. Ik that you have 3 places to place the window, the front and rear rails and the middle were u slide it into the motor. How the hell am I supposed to do all that! I attempted to some how first put it on the rails then the middle but no, then tried the middle then the rails but nothing worked...any suggestions!? I need help ASAP thanks everyone

I haven't done one, but it sounds similar to all older Toyotas. I'd say slide it in the middle, then use some very careful persuasion and angle it in. My instinct is start at the rear and then slip the front in. Use some force, but remember it's glass. Wear gloves and be smart.

Its been about a year since I had my window out, had to replace the regulator. If I remember corrrectly, you have to remove the regulator/motor assembley before you can get the window out/in. The front and back guide rails need to be removed from the door.
Then you have to put the glass on the tracks and slide the whole assembley in from the outside. Then, you bolt in the front and back guide rails to the door. Then, you have to prop the window all the way up and put the regulator back in place. Should be pretty strait toward from there.
Anyways, its been a while but I believe that's how I did mine. Did it 3 times in a week due to being shipped the wrong parts. Hope that helps.
