Default Tach Mod for Swaps/ Coil-on-plug Setups - R109

Can you guys clarify that this is the correct resistor that I need to add a wire to?

After pulling the cluster out:

This is the only r109 resistor that I see, is this correct?

I know that the Supra this resistor is actually on the back of the tach itself, but it looks like it's on the main board on the back of the whole circuit on the sc300?

Do I just solder in a wire on each end to bypass the resistor?

Thanks!
