There are always several indicators. Usually $4k price tag, no contact number, pictures are usually not even from the same car if two are used and you can notice the difference sometimes.
I contacted something similar to this before in Craigslist. It's a 2GS pearl white for $3000. And I was wondering about the pic, because the ad say it's a private party, although the pic looks like from one of the dealerships, where there's the specs and info of the car in the pic. When they emailed me back they were saying they from AZ, when in the ad said SD. And there's a whole story behind it that was really funny 'cause they had all the time to be all creative and ****. They saying that the car was owned by they son, who died in Iraq, and they saying that the car just brings back memories so they just wanna get rid of it for whatever price. They said to check out they eBay account they have 100% feedback and all that. They would ship the car to me for free and we'd do everything through eBay. But when I emailed them again, they never returned my email. And upon research, it turns out that its a common modus operandi.
