I would miss my 97 SC3 for sure if I got an S13 to replace it. I would trade for a 98-99 SC4 though

To bad it's not in the S14 8( Looks to be in GREAT condition though, I'm sure you can find just the right buyer for her.

Man that is a clean 240, but it doesn't have the WOW factor like a nicely done SC...just my 2 cents. I almost sold my SC once too, but then I decided to keep it. Good luck with your decision, and hopefully you can find a SC with the same attention to detail as your 240.

Nova i am thinking this 240 with the swap is worth 8-9k... that may be a little more than a stock 96 SC (correct me if yours has a lot done to it)

thanks man. this thing has a LOT of work and money in it. runs perfectly too.

it just seems like S13s are unsellable...

This was a very poor trade, your very lucky you got the car running at least.

I remember your articles. VERY helpful information there and I'd like to thank you for those.

On S-cars: I came to my SC from a Prelude so I considered either car a step up. I wanted a clean, stock looking S14 with an SR20 but moving to Cali I just couldn't justify it for reasons of legality and not wanting to be hassled by the law.

I personally like S13 coupes with the JDM front end and all S14's. As long as they are turbocharged. And running perfectly with A/C. And in a state that doesn't have emissions. Damn you Nissan for crippling that car.

It may upset the weight balance but it's still an RB26DETT in a 2800lb chassis. 240's are not bad cars. Other than riced out examples driven by immature kids they are even stylish.

I think it comes down to what is valued more in a performance car. The SC is a muscle coupe cruiser and the 240 (SR20DET swapped only) is a nimble cheap sports car without any focus on luxury-- and rightly so.

Maybe the S-chassis hasn't aged as well with flex and rattling.
