The truck driver even admitted to it being the shippers fault.
I'm speaking with the importer right now and will let you guy's know how this all plays out.

LOL wrong company name? That's very VERY wrong, change your topic asap.
I'm going through the same thing with a member here, now he's playing the grinding game, I might be posting up something similar soon.

Damn sorry to hear about your issues. JEI is local to me and I bought a motor from them before (h22 for my prelude). The first motor I bought was garbage and I took it back and one guy gave me the run around but then ended up getting fired while the new person in charge let me choose another motor. Forgot the guy's name that works/runs that place now but he's a pretty legit person. That DEF looks like the shippers fault for dropping it all over the place.

I think I know what member you are talking about.
Can I edit my title? Or does a mod have to do it?

It looks like whoever was moving the pallet didn't know how to use the forklift .
Sometime they will send you and engine that was damage thru shipping so you can file a claim with the shipping company, sometimes they send you the damage engine and because they can't sell them locally.
i would get my money back, don't keep that smash up engine get your full refund and try to buy something local.
I wouldn't worry about VVTi if you gonna put it in an older SC, You have to convert to DBW but if that's what you want then i say go for it.
