My low profile jack only has an inch of clearence on a 92 so id imagine with any skirts it would be impossible to lift without ramps. On my old car i had to use the stock twist jack first lol.

I have the Shine kit and my mechanic is able to jack up my car using floor jacks. However, we can't put it on this lift anymore because the skirts get in the way

I do the same. Even a low profile racing jack won't fit under my car

I tried using the stock jack today as many do here. I don't know why I never used it before

Well, its more convenient than driving up blocks and ramps.

I used the stock jack, it barely fit and cleared the skirt. I had to turn it side ways then when I was under I turned it upright and put it into place. Jacked it up a little, Then used the heavy *** race jack to jack on one of the front tow hooks. I put jack stands under the rear side point, and the front side point. And wallah! Both my wheels are off ready to go in for repair. Car is sitting with the passenger side up on jack stands.

Thanks for the advice people!

I don't think jacking the car up by the crossmemeber is a good ideal..

on my real low cars i also used the stock jack first.. sometimes you can fit a hydrualic jack if you have someone slightly lift on the front fender from the wheel well, just pull up a little, not even lifting too hard on the fender it will give you alot more room for a jack to slide under.

haha i got here too late! ....well i also have a jeep with an air compressor on it.. if you look in a jeep magazine for a "xjack" it is simply a rubber bag you feel with air and it lifts your car.

I always had this issue with my vertex kit. Now I just take the sideskirts off whenever I need to jack the car up. I'm thinking of reverting back to stock sideskirts and stock front bumper though.

buy 2 jacks. jack the rear tow hook up then take the other jack and place it where it may need to be. 3 minutes and its in the air without using the PITA stock jack.

When I used to work at BMW and customers brought their lowered rides in for service, we would have one person "lift" the car up by the wheel well while the second person slid the jack into position.
