It's pretty straight forward. Didn't think it needed a full write up due to ease of the modification.
For reference, it's slightly more difficult than changing a light bulb. lol
Pull out the trunk liner
Remove the four bolts that hold the tail light in place

Unplug the tail light at the harness
Remove the tail light
Cut off the two wire socket that goes to the inner bulb on the bottom, red part of the light.
Splice in the three wire socket to the same color wires in the harness.
I believe mine was grey, white w black stripe, and black w white stripe
Put an 1157 bulb in it's place.
Put the socket into the tail light
Reinstall
I did mine in 30 minutes both sides

I thought the same thing cept with the day shots. Night Shots looked like the front of a Camero in a way. It dosent look bad at all though. I kinda like it. It will either be hit or miss with most people.
