I'm running a Six speed and in Sixth gear at 80mph I'm around 2700-2750 Rpm's. My diff is the TT Six speed diff with 3.13 gears....

NEED HELP
93 sc300 auto, i just bought not to long ago, i run around 4200 at 80mph(yikes), everything seems stock, idles normal at 800 or so,
- does anyone know why?
- what can i do to troubleshoot?

+1 on Honda's sucking at high speeds. I had a b16 tranny and 80mpg would be around 4600 rpm. I probably still got better gas mileage though! lol.

mostl likley overdrive is not going in. my car is the same and im having overdrive issues

28-3200 is def normal for a stock sc4, im not positive on the gear ratio in the rear diff but ive hear its 4.10:1 and ive also heard is 4.27:1 but there is another guy on here dont remeber his name but he had a 93sc4 and he replaced stock gears with 3.73:1 and he is at 23-2400 at 80

I know own a 97 SC400 with a 1jz swap and at 70-75mph my Rpm's sit at around 4k..... I'm trying to get this 98 sc300 cluster from someone I know because I know that the tach will never be acurate due to having a 1j in my car now....

my overdrive is working(i hit button and it will drop out of 4th) anything else that might cause this?

Thats definitely a modd i will have to pursue cause im going to do a manual swap and im always at highway speeds and would like under 3K rpm.
