SC400 Homecoming
Hey everyone I recently put my SC off the road so that I could go to college since i can't take it with me. anyways, this is my first time being home since i started almost 2 months ago. before i even get in my house i un-cover my sc, hug and kiss it, then connect the battery back up and start her up. who would have guess that the 1uz fires up in less than 2seconds after sitting...?
however, i did notice this. every couple times i start her up, the TRAC and CEL come on together...they go off if:
1) turn the car off...
2) Reset the ECU.
when i took this car off the road it was in its PRIME. no warning lights, smoooooooth as anything. it was getting 19mpg city and roughly 25hwy so you know it was running fantastic. since i'm only 18 my experience in the car department so i need suggestions as to what may be going on...could it possibly just be the computer acting up from dust/dirt/ in the system from sitting for so long? i have sta-bil in the fuel. i'm hoping that if i take it out for a good hour or so drive down the highway just to clean out everything maybe they will go away?
its not everytime i start it either...i can start it and let it run for 20 minutes or so with no lights. then once in a long while the 2 lights come on.
