Default 92 Sc400 Stalling

My sc400 has been running fine until a week ago it started stalling. Then it went back to normal for a few days (idled very low though) but now it's stalling. CEL was on before the problem occurred but now it haven't been on since it started. The car will not start unless your foot is on the accelerator and if you let it go it dies immediately. It drives perfectly, no problems at all, as long as your foot is on the accelerator. It has a new fuel pump, not even a year old. I've checked the FP ECU and that worked fine. A family friend/ certified mechanic told me it could be the fuel filter or the strainer. I looked on the forums for awhile to see a few different suggestions. I don't won't to throw a lot of money in the car because I'm still a high school student. HELP PLEASE!

Your issue is one of two things here...1 and less likely your IACV. 2 and more likely it will be your ECU. It is located underneath the passengers side carpeting underneath the dash. Have it rebuilt by a professional...I used Daryl of Cumming(s) GA. He is on eBay selling his "ECU rebuilding service" and it comes with a lifetime warranty. Costs $150 and turn-around isn't that bad. GL!
