Default Opinions on a new idea

I've always liked the 95-96 front before anything else..but I always preferred the 97+ rear/sides..so I was thinking about putting the two together. First I would start off with a lip for the 95 front, get the 97+ rear, sides, and tail lights and get my exhaust and wheels done. Any opinions on how this would look?
thanks!

thats what i think to..because i love how sporty the 95-96 front is..but the rear and sides are kinda blegh..while i think the 97 rear and sides look really really sporty but the front doesnt win it for me..i think i'll have to pick up a 1992-1996 spoiler too

It will look good. The stock lip is conservative enough so it doesn't hang below the skirts too much (if at all). And +1 on the spoiler, that's a good choice. Even though the 92-96 spoiler is so much more common I love the look no matter what and am switching to that as soon as I can get my car fixed.

yeah, the sides are easily the best part, making the sides appear lower than the 92-96 and has a subtle, tasteful look. the 92-96 sides aren't low enough (unless lowered, etc.) and the way the side skirts curve inward makes it appear even higher sometimes. i've always liked the rear of the 97+ because it looks lower, too. the front looks good, of course, goes down lower than the 92-96, but i like the black grille in the 92-96 as opposed to the 97+ body-colored lower grille, and the two hood lines that go into the bumper on the 92-96 look better than the 97+ IMO, because on the 97+ it appears the lines don't go as far into the center of the bumper as the 92-96 due to the 97+ top grille addition, and obviously the 92-96 bumper looks more like the Supra than the 97+ due to this top grille. the bumper line differences between the 92-96 and 97+ are very, very slight and I just noticed recently. benefits of the 97+ front would be slightly more air flow i guess, the side marker placement (lower), the circular foglights, and goes down lower. all the 92-96 front really needs is a lip.

Basically milt has the exact setup your talking about but with a huge front lip, but if it were just the stock front lip with 97 sides and rears than it would look good. I think every pre 97 SC should get 97+ sides and rear and they would look sooooo good.

Yes sir....that was his latest mod to the car. Makes it look just that much more lowered and really flows well with the pre 97 front.
