Selling the RX7
Well, since I have had alot of time on my hands, I have been pondering the idea of selling my RX7. I am really thinking about getting a Honda s2000 and I found a few locally for sale. Does anyone here have any experience with these cars?? I just like the convertible idea and then mod it like I did with the Rexy.

dude, trust me, you don't want a S2000
they are slow as hell and don't handle well
they are touted to handle so well, etc, etc... well they are slower than a Honda Civic DX below 6500rpms
you will always be fighting an S2000 to go around corners; it just doesn't turn well... the RX-7 runs literal rings about a S2000 in the handling department
take it from me; i've talked to several people at the auto-x courses that sold their miata for a S2000, and they all hate it and wish they had their miata back because it handled so much better and they didn't have to fight the car to handle well and run good times

You could get the S2000 and then upgrade it with components from Spoon (in Japan)... from the videos I've seen their modifications dramatically improve the handling of the car.
I'd get the S2000 over the NSX. ...but then I already have a Supra.
Why not get a 6spd Supra?

well, took the s2k for a drive today and I think I am going to hold on to the Rexy. I was a great car, the Honda, but you really need to drive it hard to squeeze any sort of performance out of it. I did not realize that the s2k had the guages like an 84 corvette, it was actually a nice touch. Oh well, nice car though, just not for me.

Actually I do feel fortunate, I guess having a gf working full time and being smart with my money helps out. Cashing out my 401k was necessary, but as long as I roll it over withing 60 days all should be good from a tax standpoint.
