Default need help indentifying a part!! 92 sc400.

i was just cleaning my car when i noticed a piece of rubber tubing hanging from the engine bay. one end is near/under the battery tray and the other end isnt connected to anything else. the car runs fine but im not too sure what this is for or if it should be connected to something. unfortunately i dont have any pics right now but ill will try to get some pics asap. if any can identify this for me or at the very least confirm weather or not it should be connected to something else. any help will be greatly appreciated.

It could be the other end of the hose line that let's coolant come out when you drain the radiator.

If it under the battery tray it could be for spillover so the acid would drain under the car not corrode other components.
