Default aftermarket steering wheel hub/wheel problems

howdy folks!
Well i just installed a NRG short hub and quick release on my car and everything is working fine except when im turning the wheel it feels like the hub is rubbing against the column and causing some friction. Is this normal with aftermarket hubs, should i loosen the the locking not some, or is there any other method to fixing this so that the wheel can turn more freely?

no its not normal. Is it just possibly the plastic boot rubbing on the column cause those you can move back and forth to fit properly
