1995 SC300 stalling problem
Hello. I am posting this for my parents in South Florida. They are having an intermittent and seemingly random stalling problem with their 1995 SC300 with 25K miles. At least three mechanics have not been able to figure it out. I was hoping somebody here could help.
Car has new spark plugs and tune up. New battery and battery cables have been installed. Fuel system has been extensively tested. None of the mechanics, however, could not duplicate the problem. I drove it for a couple of hours last week and it ran perfectly.
My folks say that the car has stalled both when moving in local traffic and when idling at a traffic light, but not on the highway. They've noticed that when the car stalls, the dashboard "check" light comes on and remains on for a bit. While that light is on, the car will not start. After about five minutes, the light turns off and the car will start.
Any ideas on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You also might want to check the fuel pump ecu. My car has the same issue yours is having. Try the 12v fuel pump mod if cleaning the IAC doesn't work. Here is the link: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...tures-faq.html.
