Red face Power Seats Stuck, Which bolts work?

Hey guys, i know you all think i didnt run a search but i did and have been for about two weeks now. WELL i cant even drive the car comfortably. OK dilemna, driver side seat rail is not moving, again, this is the same issue you all have experienced, BUT there is a fix that you guys have done that apparently requires a size 10 socket and loosening the two forward facing bolts at the front of the seat. SOOOO i get my work light out and see the only two bolts i can see on both sides of the seat facing me (the front of the car) I was looking at the front of the seat facing the trunk so i remove both bolts. Still the seat doesnt move back. Am i missing something here? Alot of you guys posted that it works and i have just had it with this crap. 93 SC300 black 5spd.
Help me if you can. Thanks in advance.

I don't think removing the mounting bolts will fix your seat rails.

you should try removing the entire seat to figure out the problem.
It is very difficult if your seat is stuck all the way forward.

Get to all the ones you can take out first, there are at least 2 on each corner from what i remember, but don't quote me on that.

also there is a bolt that you can turn on the motor side of the seat that moves the rail manually if your wormgear caps are still intact.
the only problem is I don't think you will have enough room with the seats still in.

If your seat just magically stopped moving entirely i would reset the ecu to the seat by pulling out the cable running to it for a couple of minutes.

I have a thread on fixing the wormgear on the seat rails w/pictures and I believe i took a pic of the bolt to manually adjust if you can get to it. Its in picture 1 on the left rail right at the top going into the rail. if you can turn this it will move your seat (incredibly slow though)

you only removed the 2 front bolts that mount the seat to the body, the seat will definitely not move unless you remove the remaining bolts at the rear. The problem is, if your seat is all the way shoved back, you really don't have enough room to remove the remaining bolts in the rear. I gutted it out for a whole hour, twisting my entire body to get to those bolts in the rear. When I got the entire seat off the car, I didn't know how to fix the motor on the rail so I just bought a new seat from Gazi for $120. Heated and all power options working, leather in 8 out of 10 condition. Problem solved.
