built date? a metal plate? it should be in the engine compartment i think, on the firewall

Unfortunately, The USDM Lexus SC300 and SC400 didn't have that little aluminum build plate included when they were imported into the United States...In fact, If you look under your hood (right by the passenger side Strut) you can see where exactly where it should've gone.
