Alright guy. Wheels will be ordered once I have my final pricing on them but I need to know what tires I need to order. The car will be lowered and running D-Max +25mm fenders in front the the rears will be getting pulled since I'm not about to order K&M Missile rear overfenders from Yahoo Auction. The wheels are SSR SP1's. I hope I have my pad types right also. If not I'll just end up getting a few spacers.
Sizes are:
F: 18x9 HP -7
R: 18x11.5 SL +30

I ordered some rpf1s: 17x10 +18 rear, 17x9.5 front +18. Picking up some PBM coils later this week and going to roll and pull fenders. Thinking im going to stretch 225/45 all around?

G35 Rims on 97 RSP SC400
Hi...nothing too crazy but I like the clean look:
1997 SC400 RSP/black w/ just under 47K
Infiniti G35 18" Rims +30mm offset, no spacers
235/40 front, 245/40 rear
Tokico HP struts and Tanabe NF210 Springs
Adjustable Benevento Sunroof Deflector (to minimize wind noise)
Not too aggressive, but looks better than stock--did not want too harsh of a ride. Offset definitely brings wheels out and fills out the wheel well much better. No rubbing. Had a blown rear strut and bent rear lower control arm, so car handles MUCH better!
Just bought a house, but saving money for BBK kit with orange (my fav color don't ask lol) calipers.
Get compliments for color of car, and choice of wheels too from strangers!
Need to modify the center cap to Lexus!
Thanks and have a GREAT New Year!

Rim Brand and Type: Infiniti G35 sedan, 10 spoke
Rim Size f/r: 18x7.5
Rim Offset f/r: 45
Tire Size f/r: 235/40-18
Suspension Setup: stock
Comment On Ride: still enough sidewall to survive Oklahoma's fabulous roads...
Fender Modifications: none.
Any other comments: pardon the stock stance, if you do a little PS will get you an idea. and yeah, I need some body work, too.
about the wheels: got 'em at a good price, thought they would look good.

^, I had 275/35/18 on 18 x 10.5 +25 with aggressively cut fenders lowered to no finger gap. Clearances were extremely close; with my set-up, I don't think I would have been able to go 5mm more. However, tire brand does play a role in fitment depending on how wide or narrow, a given tire is with the same "marketed" width.
Same goes for the fronts; I ran 245/40/18 on 18 x 9 +29. Stock fenders lowered to no finger gap, rubbed occasionally on rough roads and aggressive turns. If my calculations are correct, your set-up will sit ~18mm further out than where I was. I think it's going to be an "iffy", you won't find out until you start cutting or rolling.

Yeah that's what I figured, I guess I'll just go with the 255/40 in the rear and a 235/40 in the front
