SC 300/400 Differences?
I realize that all this information is probably located in a number of different places around this site and I would be more than happy to search around and learn as much as I can (which I will do when I have time), but I need to pick up a new car soon, so I'm short on time. Can someone just give me a basic comparison between the SC400 and SC300? I had an SC400 and I loved it! It had over 360k miles on it when I sold it and everything still worked fine I want to pick up another SC4, but I've seen a lot of SC3's around and im wondering if they are as reliable ect as the 400. If anyone could give me a quick run down of the pros and cons of the 400 vs. the 300 I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
and if anyone wants to know anything about the MR2 spyder, I'll tell you everything you ever wanted to know

Hi, welcome to the forums.
Ok...quick and easy
SC300 are very good cars as are the 400's.
Here's the question you have to ask yourself...
Do you want it to have a 600hp daily driver kill everything on the road car.
SC300
Do you want a great long lasting (as you already know) touring coupe?
SC400
Now, it wont take you very long using the search button at the top of the page, use "google" type key words and search the SC300/SC400 forums for a more in depth view of each model.

Alright, thanks guys... that helps. Are the 300s really that under powered? Power is not a huge concern for me, but if its really an issue, then I'm gonna have to go for another 400. Thanks again for your input.

But the 300 has the most potential.
If you keep your foot out of them, the get okay gas milage.
I personally have the 300 and love it. Its my daily driver for now, but in a few months I will pick up a new daily and put this one up......to be built.

ive owned both .both cars have the same potential .the sc400 has bigger brakes than the sc300 comes with a lip and wing .if you plan on doing a engine swap the sc300 should be a little cheaper consideing you dont have to change the radiator driveshaft powersteering lines ac lines etc sc300 are nice if you plan on doing a na-t kit .400 are better because the are more powerful out the box and when you do a tt swap its faster than the sc300 because of the v8 gear ratios
