Hi Ho, up North I shall TOW... SC400 Towing info/pic
Reese Class II hitch from AutoZone. Took to a muffler shop to torch off about 2 inches on the upper bolt bracket. This bolts to the hold brackets rearward of the mufflers. Cutting is necessary to clear the muffler. Re-connect muffler bushing. Used a standard four wire connector for the electricals, route though the spare tire hole underneath for good looks. That's it. Works great. Cost: $128 for the hitch, $9 for the tongue, $7 for the 2" ball, $6 for the connector, $60 for my mechanic's time.

Thanks boys for the tips. Interestingly, there are several pages of tips and information about towing in your SC's owner's book. My load is extra light... I am traveling with about 900 pounds (including trailer). Tongue weight is about 60 pounds. Believe me, it drives all kinds of different. I keep a safe distance ahead, and no overdrive in the city.
