I just saw the movie too....pretty cool. The storyline was a little odd, but I loved seeing all the cars.
After talking to the director, I found out why the Supra just barely beat the Ferarri....it was in the script.
heh.....I was kinda thinking the same thing. That Supra should have smoked the Ferarri with NO problem, if it was built the way they were talking. And what was up with 'em putting stickers on the cars? Why not real paint? I would never put sticker designs on my car, when paint looks so much better.

You would have never known they were stickers if you didn't see them putting them on. They did look really good but I didn't like the stickers they put on the sides of the supra. They were a big arm pointing towards the front of the car. I think that car could have done without them.

I didn't say they looked bad...I just don't really like stickers. It's kind of the cheap way to get the custom look. With all of the people here that complain about people doing things the "cheap" way on their cars, this is one I figured people would say something about. When I used to show some cars, the judges really didn't like stickers, you could have even gotten less points for having them. Of course this was back in the day when everybody had a stripe on their car.
Ya, most of the cars in there kicked ***! It's not often that I've wanted to own a rice burner

Hehehe...Ferrari is PISSED about that scene. They are talk **** about taking legal action against the producers since the car was a "product placement" (a product that a manufacture will let you use for free for a movie or show...but you're NEVER suppose to have it look bad)...
The thing that Ferrari has to understand is that the director made the Ferrari look BETTER by not letting the Supra kill it like it would in real life (if the the Supra had all the mods)...the Ferrari driver's attitude was right at least!
