RX450h- being green and badass all at the same time (blacked out RX batmobile)
Let's face it- RX has been known to be the best luxury midsize SUV in the world- but it is also known as a soccer mom/grandpa car. But just because it's so reliable, and functional, and green (for the hybrid version), why can't it also look badass?
So I did some work to my 2014 Rx450h Jet black exterior, with black interior and bamboo trim
( no F sport version available in my area when I purchased the car in March of 2014 which I was not happy about, but oh well)
Gloss black paint on the wheels
Gloss black paint on front grille
3M window tint 25% in the front and back
3M vinyl wrap around all chrome (backgate handle, around all the windows, around the grill, and side panels)
Really happy with the end results! Wanted to do some carbon fiber but the shop I went to was not confident in their carbon wrapping skills, but I'm happy with the way it looks at the end- and now it's become a head turner
Comments welcome

Nice. I actually like that look. Looks good on a black car. Since you went to such lengths to black out all the chrome on the car, have you thought about doing the roof rails? it is the only thing that stands out now as an odd color on the car. I plastidipped the roof rails on my F sport (which is red) and it looks much better. I always thought it was funny that the roof rails are a completely different color that anything else on the car.....not chrome, not silver, a sort of off-gray. You would save a ton of money by doing it yourself....they come off easily and a can of plasti-dip is $6 at walmart.
And other members have purchased the F sport bumper and converted their non-F sport cars themselves. Prices are around $2K or so, but if you are willing to spend that much on aesthetics, it may be worth it. There is a recent post on this forum showing one member's car who made the switch.

No, I don't play soccer!
Looks great, tantanL. Black on black is droolworthy. Your pictures don't do the 450h justice. Little do people know it's like a panther ready to pounce. Stealth and swift. I just hope you don't have OCD. That color combo would definitely institutionalize me, LOL! And look at my avatar. I ain't no soccer mom

Anyone know where to purchase black emblem for the 450H? It's got a clear plastic cover over it , very different than the 350 emblem...I have looked everywhere and have not had any luck- but I hate the blue-ish plastic covered emblem...
