Default WeatherTech Mats for my 2011 RX350

Just purchased a 2011 RX350 from a guy who was a real car enthusiast. He took unbelievable care of his cars. This one has just over 26,000 miles with not a single spot inside or out. I'm almost afraid to drive it !!!

The car is beige inside and out -- thus, could should soil easily. I was thinking of replacing the mats with WeatherTech. They offer All-Weather ($100) and Liner ($200). Any experience with either? Any recommendation?

Thanks!

BTW, I have also enjoyed sharing and receiving feedback in the SC430 forum. This site is really excellent -- appreciate learning and helping others too.

Regards,

Congrats and welcome. Make sure you post some pics of your RX here. It's mandatory We have multiple threads on all weather mats in the forum. Just do a search. You can start with this one on WeatherTech. And be sure to check with the CL vendors before buying. You might be able to get a better price.

Update: Having read the posts in the link provided it's pretty clear that going with the Liner seems to be the most satisfying option.

AND -- buying from KBcarstuff looks like a good option.

Thanks, again for the helpful reply.

I don't think you can go wrong with WeatherTechs. They're probably the most popular aftermarket all season mats chosen by RX owners. And KBcarstuff has a wide selection of all brands. Here is their thread in the vendor marketplace forum.

Hey Gene, welcome to the 3rd Gen RX portion of the forum. I'm also on the SC430, having both in the garage. Weathertechs are in my Jeep GC and the fit and function are great. Easy to clean.

Hey Mohrd!

Thanks for the note. I love my SC430. I found a 2002 (Silver) with only 25,000 miles. The owner of the car was the owner of a Subaru dealership in Charleston SC. He just didn't drive the car much.

My most recent purchase was the 2011 RX350. It replaced my 2000 RX300. Man, what a difference!!!! I"m not sure I'll ever learn all the bells and whistles on this thing.

Will post a pic or two soon.

Get the WeatherTech liners not the mats. Had them in my 2008 Highlander and just put them in my 2015 RX. Wife is getting a 2014 Prius v 5 next week and my liners have already arrived and are waiting for it!

The liners go up the sides a bit and keep any snow, mud, etc. off your carpet.

I just put weathertechs in my '11 RX and I love them! I got mine from autocacessoriesgarage.com. Looked around and prices seemed fairly similar but I was pleased with my experience. The front set the shipped was labeled as gray on the box but were actually black. They next ad aired me the correct ones without question. Couldn't be happier with them or the mats.

That website did not come up -- typo perhaps?

Auto accessories garage, sorry for the typo. I know there probably quite a few places to get WeatherTechs... My experience with this vendor went very well.

I would recommend calling autoaccessoriesgarage.com to get a discount. When I purchased my WT mats from them, their advertised special on their front page did not apply to WT mats. Therefore, I called them, and they gave me a 10% discount.

I have used WeatherTech "All Weather" mats in all my cars for years, and swear by them. I was disappointed to see that they don't have All Weather mats for the CT I got several weeks ago. Since I had never seen the floor liners, I was a little reluctant to spent the money, as I was concerned they would look to utilitarian.

However, my family bought me some floor liners for Christmas, and I am totally impressed! The fit is outstanding, and the material isn't the hard plastic i was concerned about. The lips that come a little farther up the sides of the footwell will protect the area around the dead and accelerator pedals (a long time aggravation) a LOT better. I even expect them to be much easier to clean. Did I mention how well they fit? I am so impressed with how they are so tightly they fit through all the bends, bulges, and indentations in the footwells, that I may well replace the All Weather mats in our RX.
