I agree with all the above posts, skip all these cash grabs. And here's why since it's the same old story : http://blogs.cars.com/kickingtires/2...u-can-buy.html

If you're concerned about stains, rips and tears, get a color-coordinated (discreet) full rear seat cover you can get say at Walmart for 30-50$ until your kids are old enough. Note the rear of the RX is near limo-black tinted so no one will notice the covers but you in the car and the kids' car seats will cover them up anyway. In short, I had covers and/or blankets on the seats for my kids and no issues. The rare time something spilled, remove the cover and pop it in the washing machine. Plus, if you take care of your vehicles with great care, your kids will grow up to see how much you value a clean car and will respect that and better yet participate with you in the care and maintenance of the vehicle.

Today, I have individual covers for my pre-teen kids since I don't mind their look and it still gives me some peace of mind.
Thanks for the advice. Perhaps I should stop at the store and see what they have. The bench liner is one concern, but the seat backs are also a problem. My son, when sick, has thrown up in the back and he's rear facing so I've had to clean up that as well. Hope it never happens again, but I know it's possible

One thing to keep in mind if getting a seat cover is the airbags. RX has airbags everywhere, including the rear seat back. I would not put a seat cover on top of these, unless it was airbag-safe.

I have put folded blankets under child seats. You need to put something think under them, or they will stretch out the leather.

Good point. I took a thick towel and folded it under his seat, but I left the back basically alone. I will have to think more about protection options for the seat backs. Thanks again for the pointer.
