Default 2013 Lexus RX350 with Navigation 42,000 Out The Door, Good Deal or Not

I am about to purchase a certified pre owned Lexus RX350 black on black with navigation for 42,000 dollars with 19,000 miles on it. Is this a good deal? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

A 2015 model is supposed to have a MSRP of $43,951 w/ Nav before T&L. If you're only talking $3K to $4K difference for a 2015 then no reason to be buying a 2013 unless there are more options that you aren't mentioning.

I am not sure if the vehicle has more options at the moment since the car is not at the dealership yet. The price includes taxes and other fees. The only other option I know it has is the 19 inch wheels. Thanks for your input.

I would still inquire about a new 2015 w/ the exact same options just to make sure the price justifies buying a 2 year old CPO. If it were me I'd need to save about $7-$8K to make me go CPO vs. new. And not to mention if you are financing, financing rates are typically better on new cars.

For an almost 2 year old vehicle, seems 2-3K too high, but hard to discern without knowing the list of other options, i.e. AWD, BSM, Premium (or ML) Sound system, etc.

I just verified that the car has leather seats, navigation (no sensors), and 19 inch wheels. That's it! I decided against it since the car had several scratches on the rear bumper as well as touch up paint on the front bumper. I will ask for the price on a new vehicle as well to see the difference. Thanks for all the help.

^^^ Good move. At that price you needed much more equipment and better exterior...

I thought bumpers were for bumping things so I'm used to scratched bumpers? That's how my wife drives.
