I don't understand the part about markups? Are you referring to the mandatory added accessories that comes with the car (ex. Paint protection, etc)?

Paint protection is not a mandatory added accesory.
However, the very expensive floor mats, carpet protectors, wheel caps and that first aid kit!
I asked them to be removed when i bought mine last year, unfortunately, it was a No Go.

Our last car, 2002 Highlander, was a dealer demo. We got a good deal on it with about 6 or 7 thousand miles and it was the trade in on our RX at 150 k miles. We were very happy with the Highlander and I would purchase a dealer demo in the future if the price was right.
