Clock
The clock is way too low, really out of sight and as such is useless.
Did anybody attach an alternative clock somewhere in a better spot?
On the same token, the infotainment interface on the 2010+ Lexus is such a pain. What I used to do with one click and/or one glance on my old RX300 now requires series of clicks and distractions, what a pain.

Not sure what to say about the clock. It is what it is. I haven't had an issue with it. I can't think of a good suggestion for you.
As far as the interface controls, I used to feel the same way as you, and not to justify the multiple clicks, but you get used to it pretty quickly. I've only had mine for 3 months and I am already zipping through it, making selections quickly and without much thought.

The only thing I miss from the RX300 is the mute button.

I do not understand how the clock is too low?

No, I don't play soccer!
Press and hold the mode button on the steering wheel until it beeps.
Maertens, the clock location and the nav system takes a little getting used to. But there are several buttons underneath the screen to make basic adjustments unlike the RX300. That would've come in handy when the screen died on mine. Driving in the pouring rain with the windshield fogging up was not fun.

When I 1st got my 2010 I came from an older RX with much less info available on the screen and indeed it was daunting (at 1st) but after a while you learn the shortcuts and various settings and adapt nicely. I have the new GM infotainment in my Vette and so much is available using thumbs from both hands as well as touch screen (while driving), the expression 'daunting' is weak. I'm getting used to it now, but at 1st, it was more of an 'extreme challenge'.
In time, you'll understand the Toyota/Lexus logic and you'll be performing the functions as 2nd nature . Just be patient.

I felt the same way about my 2013 ES350.
Picked this up on Amazon and I'm a happy camper.

Yeah, I agree. The clock is the thing I wish Lexus replaces. Clocks in the Infiniti I had almost 10 years ago was much better than the green, digital, from-the-generic-parts-bin clock. It doesnt compliment every other luxury feature in the interior.
As mentioned in an earlier post..it is what it is.

We don't have NAV on our 2010, and the clock seems perfectly OK to me. That said, I don't have much love for the antiquated display Lexus uses when there's no NAV.
I don't much care if Lexus replaces the clock, as long as they don't put in an analog clock that looks like it came out of a 1940 Packard. I really feel those are totally out of place in a modern, high-tech vehicle. Looks too steam-punk for me.

Am i the only one who STILL wears a watch?
You know, that round thing with leather/metal strapped to your wrist?
And i'm only 35.
I understand teenagers and early 20's people who DON'T know the concept of watches since they're used to looking at their iphones/ipads.
