2010 RX 350 Audio/MP3 issues
Hi:
From the past few weeks I have observed that when I try to play any Audio or MP3 CD in my RX 350, only the first song plays and then nothing.......I change discs, again, only the first song plays and then it dies i.e. no sound. Even when I try to change the tracks nothing plays. Anyone else had/have this problem? If something to be taken to dealer, does the Platinum Extended Warranty (bought by Jerry) cover it? Also, sorry for a silly Q, if I go to the dealer and I need to drive a loaner car, do I end up paying for the loaner?

Yes, your CD changer is covered by the Lexus Platinum Extended Warranty assuming you are within the mileage/years you purchased. Suggest you take your RX in.
Details on your warranty is HERE (and on the paperwork you hopefully still have from Jerry -- suggest you take that paperwork in if you don't yet know for sure it was entered and connected to your VIN -- check a past service contract when you took your RX in and it will say if they have the policy on file towards the top, or at least my last couple of dealer stmts do.)
Policy on loaner depends on your dealer -- other threads on that if you're interested. Pre-schedule the service and ask for a loaner for best chance of getting one.
