iPod Scrolling - FIXED
Early in the 2010 production cycle, some Lexus had difficulties with iPod scrolling. The car would "auto select" the topmost song in a list, hesitate and start playing the topmost song of the list. When you would scroll down the list, once again the car would pick the topmost song in the list, hesitate and begin paying that song. Later in the production cycle a navigation system firmware update enabled "proper" scrolling in which the current song would continue to play while you would scroll through the list and you would pick a song, which would then start playing.
Lexus has corrected iPod scrolling for some of those vehicles manufactured early in the production cycle. If you have "defective" or "abnormal" iPod scrolling, try contacting your service advisor as an update is available for some models and vintages of Lexus with navigation.
Thanks to all RXers who tested the update!!

I checked and my Dealer (Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada) said they've never heard of it. They said there's only an upgrade for the Map. Anyone else in Canada inquired about this? The scrolling is annoying!

Just contaced my dealer and they have no idea about the IPOD fix. I told them about the TSB and they said there is no such thing.
I still scheduled an appointment so we'll see what happens.

Is it a Lexus LSB. I could not find the LSB # that was given in an earlier thread (LSB-0039-09)
in the following database. One can search by year, but I was unable to locate the ipod update LSB.

Nav Firmware Update to 335A, in Canada?
Has anyone in Canada managed to get this update done yet?
I've been going back and forth on the phone with a Service Advisor at one of our local Lexus dealers for the past week (since last Tuesday!), who claims he can't find it in his system, so "it must be for the U.S. only". Seriously?

I pointed out the TSB number to the advisor, and they fixed it. The advisor didn't personally know about it, but I wouldn't necessarily expect them to.
Works fine. The fix makes it practical for me to have a huge number of songs on my iPod.

Sorry I've been neglectful in this discussion, I've had trouble getting onto the technical service bulletin website. I'll try again the next day or so and see what I can find when I can call the TSB owners and see why I can't log in. I'll get in and see what I can find.
