Just showing some of the IS, GS, and SC guys that not all late model owners are afraid of wrenching their own stuff.

Im confused, what are we looking at? Do u have an issue and want opinions if you should take it to the dealership or are u showing us that u shouldn't be afraid to get ur hands dirty from time to time and do it yourself?

You're looking at the halfway point of a front rotor and pad job. And the latter.

Well, you're braver than me. I stick with the simple stuff and leave the rest to the dealer. Believe me I wish I could do what you're doing. I just know my limits.

Stay safe with Sandy rolling in.

Thanks. I encourage you, though, if you know someone who has done a brake job before, or an oil change, or any sort of regular maintenance, to guide you through the process.

I am a Senior fellow and I am with Anita on this one. My Dad taught me two things in situations like these.

1. It is a wise man who recognizes his limitations.
2. Sometimes the best tool in your tool box is your checkbook.

As I get even older the checkbook comes into play more and more.
