A/C Drier/ Amplifier Replacement
I see there was a service bulletin for the A/C drier/ amplifier on the 2010's. Has anyone had this done. They are replacing them due to the smell that can occur. Mine is not that bad and the thought of tearing the car apart to replace it is not that appealing. I hate opening up a factory sealed set up. I am interested if anyone has had this done and if it made a difference and if it caused any further problems.
Thanks.
Thanks.

....I just happened to read your post...you are a wise man.....unless you are completly reassured that no new problems will be introduce....don't bother...after all if there is a recall on the A/C, if it happens to you during the warranty period they will fix it, and I am not sure that since it is a recall, even after the warranty period....good luck..

I don't have the problem on my car. I wonder what triggers it. Until recently, I just left the AC on all the time. So the system was running whenever the car was being used. But, lately I have turned off the AC to see effect on gas mileage. Seems to have a very positive effect on mileage.
