RX330 Navigation
I've had my RX330 for 2 weeks and love it however the biggest pain is having to stop the car to use the Nav. Yesterday my kid wanted to go to a Burger King. The good news is that the POI found one. The bad news is what if I had to stop the car to look for it. For me it seems to be more dangerous to have to pull over on the side of a busy hwy than for my wife sitting next to me to be able to program the navigation while driving. I know there is a sensor in the passenger seat that senses weight inorder to deploy the airbag. Why couldn't they just hook that up to the navigation.
Is there anyone at Lexus that will listen to our complaints?
Sorry for the duplicate post.

I sympathise with your complaints as I too have the nav. I'm under the impression that most if not all industry factory navs have this "safety" feature - I'm sure it's in place to prevent law suits stemming from accidents involving Nav distraction. I've noticed that my nav actually responds when the car slows way down - not a complete stop. I will commend Lexus though, for allowing quite a lot of fiddling with the Nav while driving - the zoom in/out, the compass direction, the trip info, etc - heck there's enough there ALREADY to distract me into an accident.
