Question Outside mirror problem

When I bought my RX 330 the sales rep set the seat and mirrors to my specs and he programmed it for me.

Sometimes, when I start the engine, the left outside mirror adjusts itself DOWN. Now, I'm the only driver and the only setting so what is going on here?

Is there a problem, or is there some other setting I need to do so it won't do this any longer? Thanks.

The mirrors tilt down when you put it into reverse. Is that when it's happening?

Hey we all make mistakes sometimes! This might be of interest to you - I do remember reading on another post that you can disable the tilting mirror feature by putting the mirror adjust control to the center position. I did try it and it worked. However, I do like the feature. It just took me a little while to get used to it. My husband doesn't like the tilting mirrors and uses the disable feature when he drives the car.

I love that feature of the RX330 as well - and as well it takes some getting used to - but I especially like it when I'm backing into a tight parking space - the mirrors combined with the Rearview Cam really give one peace of mind while parking in reverse.
