Default extended warranty past 125k

Hi,
I purchased a Pre-owned 2007 Lexus RX350 done 128000 miles. I was wondering if there are any reliable third party extended warranty providers.

I am looking for another 36000 miles warranty.
thanks in advance
regards
shawn

Welcome to Club Lexus shawnkal. The key word here is reliable. The answer is no. There are several postings on this forum regarding owners that bought extended warranties and were hung out to dry when the company declared bankruptcy. Best to figure out the monthly payment for such a warranty and put it in a bank savings account. I bet you would come out ahead, even if you needed to withdrawal some to fix problems. Completely agree with Rainbird. You would be surprised at your nest egg (money you stow away for maintenance) after a year. $25/month saved gets you $300 per year for example.

Agreed. Tried to make a claim on a repair needed on my ES330 and they denied it. When you actually look at the language of the document you buy, there are so many out's they have when it comes to actually paying a claim. Don't buy one...you're better off biting the bullet if and when something happens.

That's how it is on extended warranty other than the carmaker's.
