'04 exterior door strip inquiry
Good day, Club Lexus.
So we recently purchased a 2004 RX 330 AWD and L.O.V.E. it! The car came in superb condition with 124k miles with a complete, immaculate service history and 0 rust. There are a few things that I've found lately, such as a slight static sound from behind the steering wheel (servo motor maybe?), but what I'm here for is found on the exterior.
Pictured below is a stock photo of an 04 RX 330 (it's too dark for mine to post atm). You can see from what I circled the area I'm inquiring about. It appears the previous owner had an issue with door dings, and thankfully all of them happened on this strip located on both side doors. My question: is this strip replaceable by itself? If so, where's the best place to find one? The door itself is fine, but along that protruding strip is where the dings and paint guffs are.
Is this strip replaceable?
Thanks in advance!

I recently replaced my two passenger side moldings, purchased from Sewell Lexus online. You can order by paint color, I believe they cost around $100-$120 each plus shipping. Removal is from the outside of the car only, start at one end with a plastic panel tool and work your way to the other end, it is held with double stick tape and will have a few plastic plugs that line up the molding to the door panel. Removal of the double stick tape from the door panel is a ***** and takes some time, then clean the door of all excess tape and dirt. Lining up the new molding is easy with the plastic plugs which are on the new piece.
