Hi, thought I would start a New thread on these New headlights which just came out for 2nd gen RX 330/350/400h from 04-09 with HID/Halogen,
Here are some pics of these new headlights with An LED strip, (made by "CrazyTheGod".)?
Existing chrome housing with HID:
New Blackout Housing with Led strip and HID
Wondering if anyone in the US has bought these as I think they look quite good!, I like the blackout look, I wanna see them on my Black RX 350
Here is a YouTube video link:
and an eBay link to the headlights:

I want to pull the trigger on these, but I'm wondering if anyone has pics of the Headlight ON THE CAR,
-Storm.

Awesome to see something like this coming out.
Would they work with AFS???
AlsoI would like to see them in chrome. I don't like the idea of blacked out headlights while my door handles and tail lights are chrome.

I would totally buy that in chrome. From the video it looks like the HID bulb is fixed in place though. Probably not compatible with AFS. I emailed the seller and asked if it was or not. Hope to hear back soon.

He replied to me as I saw these a couple of months back, and he/they advised that there is no AFS compatibility. If there was I would have bought these headlights as they look great. Again not sure on quality but at the price they are asking, you would hope they would be good quality. Losing AFS for me unfortunately is not the route I want to take. Would rather just black out my headlights and retain the AFS.

I like dual projectors. I think it looks better.. I especially like the way the dual projectors look on the X5. But that is another topic.
No AFS is definitely a no go. But they also make these in chrome. I really don't care for the blackout look but I love the LED strip. I also wouldn't buy these because I bought CrazyTheGod's LED turn signal mirror and the signal leaked and they weren't a perfect fit on the car either. I would imagine that these wouldn't be the best quality and they probably would need some modification to make them fit on the car properly.

Headlights normally fit well. The problem wouldn't be fitment but poor quality from the projectors itself...I've done quite a bit of retrofits in my day with OEM headlights and aftermarket...projector cut off quality and sealing up the headlight are the only things which are easy. 600 is too much for headlight's esp when there aftermarket.

I really like the LED strip though
I wonder if Crazy the God would sell just the LED strip, to put it into our OEM headlights. That would be awesome.
Also $600 is too much, Amazon has them for $178

I found the same headlights on the bidding site, available from a local seller here in CA.
Just search "Lexus RX HID LED" and you'll find them.
They have both the black and chrome versions for $360.
When you read the description, it says that you will need to use the D2S bulb, as well as AFS motor to retain AFS function.
Pretty tempting for the price and I'm sure some silicon could be used as a precautionary measure, but I'm concerned about the quality of the projector lenses.
The description says that are high quality, German components with "optimized" cutoff.
Then again, a seller can say whatever they want!
