Default Philly Auto Show - No Good - No RX330

I was at the Philly Auto Show last Sunday and was looking forward to seeing the new 2004 RX330 that I have been seeing all over this forum and the Internet, but NOTHING, no RX330 there, just the current RX300.

They just kept touting the new GX470, which is nice but I am into the RX330.

The next Autoshow in my area is in NYC in April, but by that time the RX330 should be on dealer's lots.

This new RX330 has given me more reason to believe that this is the vehicle to get over GX470 (even though still 2 different animals).

RX330 - Sportier looking
- Mark Levinson Audio Finally!
- Navigation System
- Carlike Ride
- All Wheel Drive to finally get me through these NJ winters!
- 18" Rims - FINALLY!
- Large Sunroof
- Decent Gas Mileage
- Many more reasons!

I always wanted an RX and this RX330 is just calling out to me to purchase when it comes out. This maybe my RX year!

Default I agree

I went to the Philadelphia auto show to see some of the new cars including the Rx330. Because it was going on the same time as the Detroit show we missed out on a lot of new cars (Rx330, VW Touareg, etc).

hey Philadelphia -- next time have the show a week later!

Lexguy -- which dealer will you visit for the rx330? Let's trade notes

Hey there Crutcher. You found out the hard way like me. Philly's show was definitely lacking. The show to goto in our area is NYC coming up in April.

I'm here in central NJ, so not many dealer choices. I have Lawrence Lexus here, which I will be checking with in the near future when more info is available. It always seems the customer has more info about upcoming new products then the actual Lexus sales people, the people trying to sell the product!

did you guys try asking the Lexus representatives there about it? At the LA Auto Show, I went on a Sunday and asked the "lexus guy," who said the RX330 will be in the NEXT DAY so come back tomorrow.

meZoom, I didn't have a chance to ask, but I was also there the last day of the show too. Maybe there were not enough new RX330s to go around. I'm sure it will be at the upcoming NYC show in April 2003, however like I said before it should also already be in dealer's showrooms too.

The RX330's at the Houston Auto Show right now. I know this because I've been watching a live feed on www.lexus.com It's not the best view, but you can tell from the wheels. Right now someone's doing a presentation of the SC430. You'd think they'd be doing one on the RX330....That's terrible that you went there and they didn't have the car to view.

Default I asked

I asked at the philly show and the official response was that the Detroit show and L.A. shows were happening at the same time. Therefore, the cars went there first. I think after LA that car went to San Jose but Detroit and Philly literally were the same slot on the tour. What a shame

This link is probably one of the best views of the new RX330 at the one of the Autoshows. Many different views!

I think it looks great! Enjoy!
