2007 RX 350 Dashboard - Expectations
Hi All,
I am new here and would appreciate some guidance. I bought new from the dealer my 2007 RX 350. It recently started developing cracks in the dash and the problem, although not that bad yet, seems to be getting worse. I have taken my car to the same dealer I purchased it from for service. I have not always done all of the recommended services - but have always taken it there for service. The car is in good condition. I already know about the inherent problems with the dash. This is my first Lexus. I have a really good relationship with the Service Manager - I called him and he told me he knows about the issue and would contact Lexus for me. Under my circumstances anyone know what I can expect? I'd be happy if they paid for the part and I picked up the labor - but offers seem all over the place. Any input is appreciated.

Welcome to Club Lexus, jbendeck.
Both labor and the dash replacement itself are expensive from the dealer. Expect a deal where you split it 50/50 with a cost to you of around $800.
Once you have it replaced, look to find a bottle of 303 Aerospace Protectant or similar product with UV protectants.
