Rx330 U.S. Pricing
Any rumor as to what the RX330 pricing will be here in the U.S.? i've heard two very different rumors.
1. That it will be priced lower than the Rx300
2. That it's BASE price is $40k (which sounds much higher than
the Rx300)
Any idea?

Take the average of rumors #1 and #2 and you'll have a new RX with more features for about the same price as the current one. I'd bet on it. That's one of the pros to moving production to North America.

Thanks for the logic LexRX. Anyone know when Lexus is going to make the announcement for pricing?
IMO, I see it going up since they are giving you more and that the RX is lexus' best selling vehicle, they can probably get away with it. Plus if you look at the competition to the rx, the rx is the cheapest among them. If you look at toyota's models, they tend to be cost slightly more than the competing vehicles in their bracket. It would be "un-toyota-like" to drop the price Plus that could end up near High Lander territory.

Forget where I read this (probably at Autoweek.com or Carpoint.com or Automobilemag.com), but I believe pricing is around $35,000 base for the 2wd and $45,000 topped off for the fully loaded AWD model. When I bought my '99 RX back in June of '98, it costed me $42,000 MSRP for a fully loaded car (this without nav/ML - what a rip!).
