Adding storage/organization
Hi, everyone. I'm a recovering Mama-mini-van owner and loving my new-to-me Lexus but at a loss as to where to stash all my stuff!
I thought I'd be okay with something on the floor in the back seat when I'm not full of passengers, but now I understand there are under-seat vents required to cool the battery that can't be blocked.
I'm fantasizing about some sort of center console insert (using a tote bag with divided pockets for now).
Does anyone have ideas for add-ons that would give me more storage spaces that are convenient to the driver?
I'm aware of back-of-seat storage, and the seat storage bags that can swing around to the front... and the overhead visor thingies... anything else you'd suggest?
Thank you!
Emily

Welcome to Club Lexus, Emily.
As long as you do not directly block the vents under the rear seats as seen in the appropriate section of your Owner's Manual, page 6 in the URL provided below, you will be fine. Nothing under the front seat to worry about as kiwi mentioned.

Thank you both! So the front passenger doesn't really need legroom...
And in the back I really do have to keep bags and things off the floor, yes?
I'm just so used to dumping my (many!) bags for work and whatever on the floor behind my seat before heading into work. And when the kids are in the car too, they have their stuff... really, clear back floor?? (I'm in denial - I need you to tell me again.)
Any other ideas for added storage?
Thanks!
