Post 2004 Lexus RX 330 Tire Change

I have 2004 Lexus RX 330 and rear tires gone really bad, inside its wavy. When driving over 45mph you can hear loud noise from back. There is another 2004 Lexus RX 330 and it got the same size tires and they are in good condition. So, basically I want to change tires from one car to another and if I change it with wheels is there any "CHECK" light will come on from the dash display? Is there any chip that will detect? If so, I am not sure if I should do it myself. TiresPlus charging $40 to do that.

Thank you.

Either do it yourself or pay some one.

Read up the user/owner manual.

Make sure they hand torque the nuts to 76 lbs, no air hammer!

Using an air gun is no problem. However your only fixing a symptom. The cupping on the tire is caused by your rx being out of alignment. Those new tires will be just as cupped in time. Get it aligned to get the most out of those tires.

Now, for the light. Take a look at the valve stem on your old tires. If the tire cap is screwed on to a hard aluminum stem, i.e. NOT black rubber, you have TPS. Which is a Tire Pressure Sensor. Those are coded specifically to YOUR rx only. When you change them over, your TPS light will come on signaling "no Communication with those sensors."
Get a reputable tire shop to put the tires you want on your rims or change over your old sensors. MAKE SURE THEY KNOW WHAT THEY're DOING. It is easy to break a sensor if the Tech is new at it.

I could be wrong but I think my 04 has rotational sensors on my hubs and not in the tire. Had a flat last week and had to have the valve stem replaced on my tire. Just replaced it with a standard valve stem. When I asked the tech about the sensor that is what he told me. I reset the monitor system and off I went.
