Default whats wrong with my 2007 lexus rx350

well, since we got a different car( gas saver) we have not been driving the RX, maybe 1 once every month or so? and last time we try to start, it won't start up. it happen again this time. it won't start , we had to jump it. this is the second time it happen
battery is brand new, they just replaced it 1 year ago, all it makes are ticking sound when i try to crank it ( load tik tik tik )

got it fully check ( 207 points) before all this happen, you think it might be that they had forgot some wires? or plug not all the way in?

ps. just out of my 4 years.

Get another battery. Drive it more often.

Be sure your headlights and wipers are not on auto. Their detection circutry can draw power.

Have your battery load tested.

If that doesn't do it, get a battery minder to keep the battery charged.

Start the vehicle once every week even when you're not driving it to avoid dead battery. This happens to most cars idle for too long.

Use a trickle charger with a float when not driving the vehicle for extended periods.

I sometimes drive my RX a few times a month and when it's sitting in the garage it's connected to a trickle charger... I use this http://batterytender.com/automotive/...-at-1-25a.html

Check to make sure that you don't have a rear area cargo light accidentally turned on. You could also have the RX checked for a parasitic drain using an amp meter.

Let it run for at least 15 minutes in order to allow a full warm up and for the cold start condensation to dry from the exhaust system.
