I have 40,000 miles on my SUV and need new tires. I saw the older threads on tires but was wondering if anyone had any recommendations.

First of all, welcome to Club Lexus. Tires are most likely, the most discussed issue on this forum. The problem is what some members consider as a great tire other guys would strongly disagree. One to avoid almost everyone agrees on is the stock Goodyear tires. If you use the "search this Forum" feature with the keyword "tires" it will bring up hundreds if not thousands of discussions on what tire to buy pros and cons.
